James Cook was coming in with a rushing yards total of 75.5 for Saturday's big AFC Division Round Playoff game between the Bills and Broncos.
Cook rushed 15 times for 46 yards in the Bills’ Wild Card Round win over the Jaguars.
No team allowed fewer rushing yards in the regular season than Jacksonville. Their front seven lived up to the hype in the Wild Card Round, limiting Cook to 3.1 yards per carry. Week 18 aside, it was Cook’s lowest rushing output since Week 1. Cook’s fantasy backers also got to watch Josh Allen steal two rushing touchdowns. Cook should fare better next week, no matter who the Bills face in the Divisional Round. He will still be one of the best DFS options on next week’s slate.
RJ Harvey total rushing yards featured an over/under of 53.5 for Sunday's game.
Harvey rushed 15 times for 28 yards in the Broncos’ Week 18 win over the Chargers, adding one reception for five yards.
Harvey was seemingly headed toward a big day after totaling 22 yards on five carries, including one from the Chargers’ six-yard line, on the Broncos’ opening drive. The Chargers’ defense simply stonewalled him on the ground from there. Harvey dropped an easy screen pass target on 2nd-and-15 during the Broncos’ third drive, and QB Bo Nix aggravatingly overthrew him on a red zone pass later on. Harvey and the Broncos are on bye next week, having secured the AFC’s No. 1 playoff seed.
