Bet on Clemson vs. Auburn Week 1 – The Most Lopsided College Football Action

You can bet on Clemson vs. Auburn with Clemson coming in as a -7.5 visiting favorite at most books.

Clemson was seeing the most lopsided action of the week at 75 percent.

Clemson has won the last two in this series dating back to 2011

They have gone 6-1 Against The Spread in their last 7 games in September and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games.

Auburn has managed to go 1-10 Against The Spread in their last 11 home games and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 non-conference games.

A win Sunday would be a true upset.

Here is a thought to ponder courtesy of the Montgomery Advertiser for those of you looking to bet the money line (Clemson to win outright) at just -300, available at BetOnline.  (a $30 bet pays $10 with the $30 paid back should they win, and they probably will)

Simply by the numbers, only three schools ranked in the top five of the preseason Associated Press poll has lost an opening game to an unranked opponent in the last 31 years.

This doesn’t mean Auburn still can’t cover.

“Circumstances change based on personnel but Auburn has always been Auburn in the sense that they always have dudes that can run, dudes that have size and dudes that have athleticism,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Sunday. “They've been well coached for a long time. That part of it never changes.”
