The New York Giants have taken action to fire head coach Ben McAdoo after the team has won just two games this season.  They were widely expected to compete for a division title entering the 2017 NFL season.

The news comes just one week after McAdoo decided to bench starting quarterback Eli Manning.  Both current and former Giants players expressed disgust over that decision.  McAdoo did bench Manning in favor of Gino Smith.  The Giants lost against Oakland.

Both McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese are expected to be canned, according to numerous local media reports.

McAdoo had the 5th shortest odds of being the first head coach fired this season back in September when betting was still available.  His odds were at 14-1.

All of these odds appear below.
