The Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets have replaced both the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts as the new favorites to win the 2011 Super Bowl.   Both teams pay $700 on a $100 bet should they win the big game.

The 4-1 Ravens will have a tough game in New England this week after conquering Denver at home.

In that game, the Ravens won their third straight and grabbed undisputed possession of first place in the AFC North.  They also outrushed the Broncos 233-39.

Ray Rice had his first 100-yard rushing game of the season and sixth of his career. It was also just the second multi-TD game of Rice's career.

"It was an important win for us to get where we're going as a football team," coach John Harbaugh said. "This is a game we really had to win at home, against an AFC team."

Meanwhile, the New York Jets won a big game Monday night against the Brett Favre led Minnesota Vikings.

A key component in New York’s success: LaDainian Tomlinson.

ESPN.com says of the runningback:

Through 5 games this season, LaDainian Tomlinson is casting a shadow of doubt with regards to why the Chargers let the supposedly washed up RB leave. Through 5 games, LT is averaging 87 yards per game and 5 yards per carry. The 87 Yards per game puts him on pace to rush for 1,392 yards which would be his highest single-season total since leading the NFL with 1,474 Rush yards in 2007.
