Friday, 8:00 pm Eastern – ESPN

Arizona and Toledo get the college football bettingspotlight on Friday as ESPN will be televising the game. It is the third all-time meeting between the two teams with Arizona winning the first two. The Wildcats are heavily favored to win this game as well.

Arizona is a 16-point favorite with a total of 60 at SBG Global.

Arizona had a nice NCAA football bettingseason a year ago until they played the Holiday Bowl against Nebraska and embarrassed themselves losing 33-0.  That game should be forgotten though as Arizona can compete for a Pac-10 title this season.  The Wildcats are led by quarterback Nick Foles who threw for 2,466 yards last year. Arizona returns running backs Keola Antolin and Nic Grigsby so they should have a balanced attack.  The Arizona defense is solid led by defensive ends Ricky Elmore and Brooks Reed.

Toledo must replace quarterback Aaron Opelt so it may be a tough season for the Rockets.  Austin Dantin is the starter and he wasn’t very good last year with four TDs and four interceptions. He does have a great receiver in Eric Page who led all freshmen last college football betting season with 82 receptions and 1,159 yards. The running game looks to be led by Morgan Williams.  The Rockets are not likely to be as good on offense as they were last year. That is a major problem because their defense is not very good. Last year it was atrocious. They do have All-Mac senior Archie Donald so all is not lost.

Arizona should be able to score against a poor Toledo defense. The question in this game is whether or not Toledo’s offense can put up enough points to keep this game competitive.  Toledo has some question marks on offense and for them to stay in this game they will need some positive answers on Friday night.

Arizona has not been a good team on the road lately. They are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games. The Wildcats are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games. Toledo is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Looking at the total in this game, the Under is 6-1 in the Wildcats last 7 games overall but the Over is 16-7 in the Rockets last 23 home games.
