The Arizona Cardinals odds to win the 2015 Super Bowl were set at 60-1, which makes sense being that they are in a highly competitive division that kept this franchise out of the post season last year despite winning well above .500.

The Cardinals were robbed last year for sure.  This was a team that could have actually advanced deep into the post season.  Unfortunately they play in a division that includes the likes of San Francisco and reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks.

So how have things changed in Arizona coming into 2014?

They drafted safety Deone Bucannon and left tackle Jared Veldheer.  The problem, their top running back, Rashard Mendenhall, has announced his retirement.  Also, one of the team’s top linebackers, Daryl Washington, is undergoing a one-year suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

It was their defense that carried Arizona to a surprising 10 wins last season. In addition to Washington, Karlos Dansby will also be gone after signing with Cleveland.

None of this bodes well for Ariona, which is priced at -145 to win 8 regular season games or more.

Here are a few things to look for befor placing that Arizona Cardinals future bet.

They will host San Diego on September 8 for Monday Night Football primetime.  Arizona is just 1-8 when appearing on MNF.

On November 23, Arizona returns to Seattle.  They beat the eventual Super Bowl champs last year and revenge will most certainly be on the minds of Seattle.  Oh, and did we mention they face off against last year’s Super Bowl loser, the Denver Broncos, on the road no less.  These losers are the early favorites to win the 2015 Super Bowl.
