The San Francisco 49ers are 3-point favorites on Monday on ESPN as they visit the St. Louis Rams. The San Francisco 49ers have won their last two games to get above .500 and back into contention in the NFC West while the St. Louis Rams are struggling at 1-3.

Oddsmakers are expecting a low scoring game as the total of 43.5 is one of the lowest on the board for Week 6 but it should be noted that neither defense ranks in the Top 10 in the league.

The San Francisco 49ers have won their last two games even though the drama surrounding head coach Jim Harbaugh has made things more difficult. Reports said that Harbaugh had lost the trust of his players and that he could be on the way out after this season but the team is winning again which has quieted down the critics a little bit. One player who definitely backs Harbaugh is quarterback Colin Kaepernick. "I love Coach Harbaugh. I'd go to war with him any day of the week,'' said Kaepernick, ''He's a competitor, he wants to win and he's going to do anything to put this team in a position to win.'' The San Francisco 49ers have been winning thanks to an effective running game that is third in the league, averaging 145 rushing yards per game. The team should do well against a St. Louis Rams defense that is 29th in the league against the run.
