The 2018 Citrus Bowl features Notre Dame vs. LSU with the Tigers as a -3 to -3.5 favorite even though the College Football Betting Power Ratings suggest that the Fighting Irish should be a -4 favorite here.  Action was pretty balanced for this Citrus Bowl game.

The Citrus Bowl dates back to 1947 and has tie-ins with the Big Ten and SEC.  The game is played in Orlando and features a payout of US$4,250,000 (As of 2015).

Notre Dame will be short-handed for this one, particularly in the passing game, without wide receivers Kevin Stepherson (suspension) and Chase Claypool (injury), as well as tight ends Alize Mack (suspension) and Brock Wright (injury).  We still believe this line is shaded enough against Notre Dame.

Quarterback Brandon Wimbush might have to rely more heavily on targets such as Equanimeous St. Brown, Miles Boykin and Chris Finke at wideout. Smythe could play a big role along with fellow tight ends Nic Weishar and Cole Kmet.

These teams did face one another three years ago with Notre Dame winning by three points.

The Tigers are 6-0-1 Against The Spread in their last 7 games following a ATS win.
