Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl Odds: 48-1

Minnesota Vikings Season Win Total: 7 over -225

Minnesota Vikings Offense

The Vikings are going to be vastly improved on offense this season as they get a healthy and motivated Adrian Peterson back in the lineup. He is one of the best running backs in NFL history and instantly upgrades this offense. Not only do the Vikings get Peterson back they also have a big play receiver in Mike Wallace who was with Miami.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater did a fine job last season with very few weapons at his disposal and he should be even better in 2015 with Peterson and Wallace in the lineup. Keep in mind that five of the nine losses for Minnesota were by eight points or less. The Vikings still have Charles Johnson and Kyle Rudolph who should see less coverage with defenses focusing on Peterson and Wallace. The offensive line for Minnesota should also be improved with a healthy Matt Kalil.

2015 Minnesota Vikings Defense

The Vikings had a solid defense a year ago which should come as no surprise as head coach Mike Zimmer is known for coaching defense. The Vikings improved dramatically under Zimmer and they should continue to get better in 2015. They are led by Sharrif Floyd, who dominated the middle. He is joined up front by Linval Joseph, who played well late in the season and defensive end Everson Griffen who had 12 sacks last season. The Vikings have Anthony Barr at linebacker in addition to Gerald Hodges and rookie Charlie Campbell. The secondary is very good with Harrison Smith, Robert Blanton, Xavier Rhodes and Captain Munnerlyn. The team also took the best corner in the draft in Trae Waynes.

RB DuJuan Harris, WR Mike Wallace, ILB Casey Matthews, CB Terence Newman, S Taylor Mays, CB Trae Waynes, ILB Eric Kendricks, DE/OLB Danielle Hunter, OT T.J. Clemmings, TE MyCole Pruitt, WR Stefon Diggs
