2015 Baltimore Ravens Futures – Betting Preview

2015 Carolina Panthers Season Win Total: 8.5 under -125

2015 Carolina Panthers Offense

The Panthers have their supposed franchise quarterback in Cam Newton although he has not always played like a top quarterback. Even though he led the team to the playoffs a year ago he did not play well as he had a career high in turnovers with 17 and a career-low in Yards per Attempt. The Panthers didn’t do much in the off-season to upgrade what was a weak offense. They didn’t get any help for a bad offensive line as bringing in the overrated Michael Oher is not the answer and hoping that fourth round pick Daryl Williams can start is wishful thinking. The Panthers have a solid running back in Jonathan Stewart but he is not going to make big plays. The receiving corps is led by Kelvin Benjamin who showed flashes last season of being very good but far too often was inconsistent. The top offensive player on the team continues to be tight end Greg Olsen.

2015 Carolina Panthers Defense

The defense for Carolina was really good down the stretch a year ago as they allowed just 15 points per game down the stretch. Carolina went with two rookies in the secondary and both Bene Benwikere and Tre Boston came through in a big way. The bad news for Carolina is that they no longer have defensive end Greg Hardy who signed with Dallas. The pass rush will be weaker but the team still has Charles Johnson and Star Lotulelei plus they have two of the best linebackers in the NFL in Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis.

Carolina Panthers Offseason Additions
