2014 NFL Fantasy Values: Demaryius Thomas, Le’veon Bell, Demarco Murray

2014 NFL Fantasy values are explored for Demaryius Thomas, Le’veon Bell and Demarco Murray, including some future prop bets for each.

Broncos Demaryius Thomas Fantasy Value from RotoWorld 2014: Grieving Demaryius Thomas had five catches for 52 yards on six targets in Thursday's preseason opener.

Thomas missed a bunch of early-camp practices after losing his grandmother to Alzheimer's. He shook off any rust with ease against the Seahawks. Thomas racked up the impressive stats on just 16 snaps, highlighting just how unstoppable the size-speed freak is. With Eric Decker gone and the offensive line improved, Demaryius has No. 1 overall wideout potential this season.

Broncos Demaryius Thomas Fantasy Value from FantasyPros.com 2014: Barring injury, Thomas could achieve number 1 status amongst all WR's for fantasy scoring this year. With Decker gone he joins Wes Welker and Emmanuel Sanders in the starting group of Peyton Manning's powerful offense. He is certainly worth consideration as a first rounder in fantasy drafts.

His odds to catch 110 Passes or More would pay out $90 for every $10 bet this season.

Steelers Le’veon Bell Fantasy Value from FantasyPros.com 2014: Bell's ADP has fallen a little bit and this may be due to the uncertainty of any internal discipline to be levied by the Steelers. Still a second round pick in fantasy drafts (11th RB off the board), go ahead and pick up Bell without worry.  The Steelers hands are tied by the collective bargaining agreement and any discipline they would issue to the players (Bell and Blount) would be subject to a grievance if it does not fall into line with the CBA. In fact, the CBA says they are NOT allowed to discipline them, according to Pittsburgh correspondent Dave Carroll.

Bell scoring OVER 9 touchdowns during the regular season pays $90 for every $10 bet.

Cowboys Demarco Murray Fantasy Value from ESPN.com 2014: Murray has every skill you want in a fantasy back. He's big, he's fast, he can catch and he was third among all qualified RBs with 5.2 yards per carry in 2013. So why don't we rank him higher than 10th? Injuries. Broken ankle, sprained wrist, sprained ankle, sprained knee -- Murray has often earned a "questionable" tag even when he played. When he is 100 percent, the Cowboys have proved they're willing to give Murray a big-time workload. He averaged 21.3 touches per game after Week 10 last year. That's RB1 material ... if he can stay healthy.

Cowboys Demarco Murray Fantasy Value from RotoWorld: Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray played three series against the Dolphins Saturday, rushing for 18 yards on six carries and adding one catch for six yards.  The Cowboys' line surprisingly struggled to open holes against the Dolphins, but there is little cause for concern. Murray should get plenty of work behind what could be the best offensive line in the league. Through two preseason games, Murray has 14 carries for 52 yards (3.7 YPC) and two catches for 27 yards. He is an excellent pick at the top of the second round.
