Among the props offered for the 2013 Super Bowl will be the number of field goals scored.  Odds for the total number of field goals scored were at OVER/UNDER 3.5 with the OVER paying $12 for every $10 bet at Bookmaker.

The field goal plays such a critical role in any NFL game that we will not see oddsmakers feature a line of -3 on this Super Bowl despite the number getting tantalizingly close at 3.5.

“So many games fall on the number 3 or the field goal, bookmakers would get crippled should it happen in this game,” noted Don Shapiro of Gambilng911.com.

Field goal prop bets were in abundance, nonetheless.

Team to Score More Field Goals in the 2013 Super Bowl had San Francisco at near even odds, yet the underdog Ravens were at -125.

Team to reach the first 3 points, presumably via a field goal, had the Ravens paying $11.50 for every $10 bet and San Francisco at -135.

Team to Score the First Field Goal would have the Ravens paying close to EVEN odds and San Francisco at -135.

The shortest field goal of the game scored had Baltimore at EVEN odds.
