2009 Week 1 NFL Predictions and Free Picks

Gambling911.com is thrilled to bring you some great early 2009 Week 1 NFL predictions and free picks that we believe can help generate some nice revenue when placing bets online.

Seattle -7 ½ St. Louis - This is a game that most oddsmakers won't be paying much mind to.  Neither team promises to be all that good this year though there are those who swear by Seattle.  But St. Louis may end up being the worst team in the NFL in 2009 so that even the Seahawks should be able to stomp them good.

Gene Wojciechowski of ESPN.com put it this way regarding St. Louis:

"Brittle Marc Bulger had an 11 TD/13 INT ratio last season, which helps explain the 2-14 Rams record. Bulger missed games. Star running back Steven Jackson missed games. The defense played as if it were AWOL."

With that said, here is a good stat that goes against St. Louis:  Against The Spread they are 0-8 for the last three seasons during the month of September.  Something to think about when placing those online bets at BetUS.com.

Pittsburgh on the money line in all games against conference opponents translates into a record of 12-2.   You'll end up paying a little more once the money line becomes available, but this one might be worth the price.

Here is an interesting stat but it's not one Gambling911.com really wants to emphasize with its 2009 Week 1 NFL predictions and free picks:

Tampa Bay using the money line in home games against conference opponents are 11-2 over the last three seasons.  The problem is we don't think Tampa Bay is going to be very good this season and they will host the Dallas Cowboys.  Granted, the Cowboys might not live up to expectations either so this is one to perhaps put a small wager on.
