The 2018 FIFA World Cup draw took place Friday with Group C teams selected including France, Denmark, Peru and Australia.
Early on 80% of the betting action was on France to win at 1/3 odds.
Denmark has shown glimmers of brilliance leading up to their World Cup 2018 entry. They had odds of 9/2.
Peru was coming in at 10/1 odds, Australia at anywhere from 14/1 to 25/1 (PaddyPower).
From Rory Smith of the New York Times: If France had imagined an ideal group, it would have been this. Peru was among the weakest of the second seeds, Australia does not have a coach, and Denmark should not trouble them too much. Second place could be intriguing, though.
