2018 World Cup Group A Betting Odds: Uruguay, Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia

The 2018 FIFA World Cup draw took place Friday with Group A teams selected and in this group is the dreaded Uruguay, who arguably have little to worry about facing off against the two bottom feeders in the World Cup: Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Uruguay actually has very great value at EVEN odds.  Russia, as the host country, was coming in at 5/4 odds.  Egypt had odds of 6/1 while Saudi Arabia had odds of 33/1.

Half the early action was on Uruguay, now considered to be South America’s second best team.

It’s easy to see why Uruguay would be considered the biggest winner in Friday’s draw.
