EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — (Gambling911.com) - Sun Country Airline, which was recently acquired by Allegiant Air, has announced the return of nonstop flights to Las Vegas from Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
This is a seasonal flight that will run through December 7 of this year and is the only nonstop from Eau Claire to Vegas.
The flight is set to begin Friday October 2 according to Chippewa Valley Regional Airports with a departure time of 3:10 pm leaving out of Eau Claire Mondays and Fridays.
The Las Vegas departures will be 9 am on Mondays and Fridays.
The service gives travelers across the Chippewa Valley a direct connection to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas for fall getaways and early winter escapes. The inaugural flight will feature a terminal celebration with special festivities for departing passengers.
"Las Vegas offers something for everyone, and now travelers can get there nonstop from right here in the Chippewa Valley," said Airport Director Charity Zich. "And while Las Vegas is known for its iconic entertainment, there's so much more to explore."
Zich said families can enjoy the outdoors at Red Rock Canyon or explore the Hoover Dam making Las Vegas a great destination for a variety of travelers.
Those in Eau Claire would typically need to drive an hour-and-a-half to Minneapolis to fly nonstop to Las Vegas.
