ANALYSIS
Though the Sooners landed a big-time running back acquisition in Jaydn Ott this past summer, he is not the first-choice running back concerning their updated depth chart. Instead, the Sooners list Barnes as their RB1. During his 2024 season, he logged 700 all-purpose yards (577 rushing and 123 receiving) and six touchdowns. However, with a possibility that the depth chart does not reflect how the Sooners will use their run game, Barnes will have to impress in opportunities he does get.
