Fernando Mendoza Heisman Odds Just Got Longer

We've seen a major shift in Heisman odds...perhaps it's the Antoinette Padilla (Pavia) effect?

When I sent out Heisman Trophy odds from BetOnline.ag late Saturday night, Fernando Mendoza was a massive favorite with -3000 (1/30) odds.

Mendoza is still favored, but that number has moved all the way up to -1000 (1/10).

Diego Pavia's odds Saturday night were +1500 (15/1), but now we're seeing less than a third of that price with him currently sitting at +425.

Is there an upset in the making? Doubtful, but worth nothing the odds movement ahead of this weekend's ceremony.
