Arch Manning was coming in with a total passing yards prop bet Over/Under of 212.5.

Manning was 18-for-21 passing for 309 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 55-0 win versus Sam Houston State. He also had five rushes for 11 yards with two touchdowns.

The sophomore quarterback was dominant, hitting Jordan Washington for a 32-yard TD, connecting with Ryan Wingo on both a 53-yard bomb and a 13-yard scoring strike, plus running in two short scores himself. Manning's command of the offense and efficiency through the air reasserted his status as a budding star as the Longhorns head into SEC play against Florida on Oct. 4 following the bye.

Saturday's game will be the first of eight consecutive conference games for quarterback Manning and Co., with the next four coming away from home.

“Everybody better buckle up,” coach Steve Sarkisian said. “There are no gimmies.”
