LAS VEGAS – Entering the 2024-2025 season, Louisville was in the midst of one of its longest postseason droughts in history. 2019 was the last time the proud fanbase had seen their team in March. However, after a nine-game winning streak, Louisville is starting to make noise in the national championship market at Circa Sports, a leading authority in sports betting.

With new coach Pat Kelsey at the helm, Louisville started the season with modest expectations. When Circa Sports oddsmakers opened the championship market for the 2024-2025 basketball season, Louisville was slated at 100/1 odds. As the offseason progressed, the odds fluctuated, going down to 60/1, but also getting as high as 125/1. While a win over Indiana in November cut the odds town to 65/1, it would slowly move back up during a series of losses to Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Duke and Kentucky.

Despite starting their winning streak, the odds would reach as high as 200/1 on January 7. After a win over Syracuse on January 14, the line cutdown to 100/1 and now sits at 85/1.

Here is the timeline of Louisville odds at Circa Sports, starting with the beginning of the season:

    November 1: +1000
    November 18: +12500
    November 27: +6500
    November 28: +7500
    December 9: +10000
    December 16: +12500
    December 23: +15000
    December 24: +17500
    January 7: +20000
    January 14: +10000
    January 22: +8500

Louisville currently sits with the second-best national championship odds among ACC teams. Duke, the top team in the conference, sits at +450. The only other ACC team with odds under +25000 is North Carolina, who currently is +12500 to win the national championship.
