Your San Diego State University Aztecs just knocked out the No. 1 seed in the 2023 NCAA Men’s Tournament, the Alabama Crimson Tide.  And while you can’t bet SDSU games on DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM from California, our friends at BetUS are more than happy to take your bets (be 18 or up).

It wasn't just a win, the Aztecs made a statement.  They beat Alabama 71-64.

This was the school’s first appearance in the Elite Eight with Darrion Trammell leadng the way for the Aztecs with  21 points.

SDSU entered the tournament with the nation’s 6th best defense.  They held Alabama star Brandon Miller scoreless for just over the first 12 minutes of the game.

The Aztecs would go on to beat two teams by a single point, Creighton in the Elite Eight and FAU in the Final Four.  They were facing UConn in their first ever National Championship as a +7.5 underdog .

SDSU is not used to playing as an underdog.
