2023 Horse Profile

Derma Sotogake was listed at 13-1 and widely expected to participate in this year's Kentucky Derby.

The March 25 UAE Derby at Meydan in Dubai was won by Derma Sotogake (6/1) by more than 5 lengths.

He was sired by Mind Your Biscuits out of the Neo Universe mare Amour Poesie.

Derma Sotogake comes to us courtesy of Japan.  Though 2020 Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus was owned by Japanese businessman Fusao Sekiguchi, the horse was based and raced out of the United States.
