How the Huskies Got In

UConn got into the Sweet 16 with a 70-55 victory over tournament regulars Saint Mary's.

Adama Sanogo collected 24 points and eight rebounds, including 11 of 16 shots from the floor.

UConn's Tristen Newton scored 13 points and Jordan Hawkins had 12 points though he was scoreless in the first half.

It is the first Huskies Sweet 16 appearance since 2014. 

"I can't believe it. I can't believe it," Sanogo said postgame. "My last two years we lost our first game in March Madness. So this year to be able to go to Sweet 16, I can't believe it."

The Huskies comes into their game against Arkansas as a -3.5 favorite.
