Tom Brady has left the door open for an improbable return to the National Football League.

On Thursday, he said he wouldn't rule out un-retiring (again), to play for either the Patriots or Raiders.

What are the chances?

SportsBetting.ag has set odds on Brady's potential return, and they are not all that great. The odds imply just a 25% probability the GOAT will be on a roster in Week 1.

Brady, after all, turns 47 a few weeks before the start of the new season.  But who is to say Brady doesn't want to make history?

George Blanda was the oldest to ever take to the field in an NFL uniform at 48.

Additionally, there are odds for which team Brady will play for, but it's a two-way market between the two clubs he mentioned yesterday.

Will Tom Brady be on NFL roster in Week 1?

Yes       +300

No        -500

Which team will Tom Brady be on in Week 1?

Patriots            -140

Raiders             +100

What He Said

Brady made the comments while appearing on the Deep Cut podcast.

"I'm not opposed to it," Brady said. "I don't know if they are going to let me if I become an owner of an NFL team. I'm always going to be in good shape. I'll always be able to throw the ball. So, to come in for a little bit, like MJ [Michael Jordan] coming back, I don't know if they would let me. But I wouldn't be opposed to it."
