While it is possible to bet the Wildcats from the Land of Lincoln in this year's March Madness tournament, one can only do so in-person using a state-operated app. There are other great options where you can place your bets remotely online at BetUS (now celebrating their 29th year in business).  BetUS is licensed in the Dutch island of Curaçao, one of the largest online gambling hubs in the world.

Wildcats Advance to Next Round of Tournament vs. UCLA

Boo Buie scored 22 points, five rebounds and five assists for Northwestern as they advance to the next round of the 2023 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament after beating Boise State Thursday night.

Chase Audige added 20 points, six rebounds and four steals for the seventh-seeded Wildcats (22-11) while Ty Berry added 13 points and six rebounds and Brooks Barnhizer added 10 points.

Northwestern coach Chris Collins said on CBS, "I love seeing all this purple out in California. We played really hard. Boise State is a heck of a team ... but we hung in there. We got enough stops when we needed them. I thought our guards took over late."

The Wildcats will face off against UCLA as a +7.5 underdog.

BetUS offers some great options that are comparible, if not better, to those of the state-regulated apps.  "Regulated" should be placed in quotes as there have been countless documented issues with these apps in recent months - everything from crashing to account compromises - that have not been adequately addressed.
