I’m sure it has happened before, but it’s tough to recall a time when two coaches of winning teams were fired this late in the year, and our friends at BetOnline are capitalizing on these firings by offering odds on who will be named the next Denver Nuggets head coach, as well as Nikola Jokic's next team.
Taylor Jenkins was a bit surprising, but not shocking as they let go five of his assistants in the offseason.
Mike Malone of the Nuggets…that was stunning. Nuggets’ ownership also fired GM Calvin Booth.
Malone won a championship in 2023, coached the Nuggets for 10 seasons and is the only NBA coach Nikola Jokic has ever known.
