The West Virginia vs. Notre Dame spread has been especially volatile heading into Wednesday afternoon with the number shifting between -2.5 and -4 for the Fighting Irish.  The number is OFF at some betting shops.  You can find all the latest Men’s College Basketball betting odds at WagerWeb.com here – serving the sports betting community since 1994.

An amazing stat here is that the away team has won 8 of the last 9 in this series, the exception being the recent game in Notre Dame.  That game was won by 4 points.  Two of the last four games in the series were won by just 2 points.

The Mountaineers have been struggling of late, losing 5 of their last 7 games while Notre Dame has won 8 straight.

The Mountaineers are 15-5 Against The Spread in their last 20 games after allowing less than 50 points in their previous game.

The Fighting Irish are 30-12 ATS in their last 42 vs. Big East.

Notre Dame is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

The Fighting Irish are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.

The Fighting Irish are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall.

Notre Dame 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win.

The Fighting Irish are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a home favorite of 0.5-6.5.

Right now it is tough to bet against Notre Dame and even harder to wager on West Virginia, yet history tells us the Mountaineers have a better than 50 percent chance of covering the spread here.
