BetPhoenix.ag has priced the Warriors odds of winning the 2015 NBA Championship at -230 while Cleveland would pay out $19 for every $10 bet.
Cleveland had entered the season as the favorite to win this year’s Championship. After starting the season off slow, the Cavs ultimately took control in the Eastern Conference despite tough competition primarily from Atlanta, who they beat in the Playoffs.
The Warriors entered the season with 16-1 odds of winning the Championship. This will be their first Championship game in 40 years.
The conference title is the biggest accomplishment yet in what has been a rapid rise for a Warriors team that is beloved in the basketball-united Bay Area despite decades of futility.
The Warriors rolled to a franchise-record 67 wins in the regular season.
The 2015 NBA Championship begins June 4.
