The Nova Wildcats were coming in at 9/2 odds of winning the 2018 March Madness NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament

Outlook

It's the Wildcats' fourth Big East tournament title -- including the past two years, and three of the past four.  They will enter the 2018 March Madness with six covers in their last ten.  While they pummled Marquette and Butler heading into Saturday's game against Providence, the later forced them into overtime.  Villanova held on to win 76-66. Villanova will likely be the #1 seed in the East and heading to Pittsburgh for a Thursday game.

Power Rating

Heading into March Madness 2018, Villanova held a Power Rating of 94.64.  If they were to theoretically play Creighton (rated 20) in the first round, the line would be Wildcats -8.5.  They would be a -5 favorite against Gonzaga (rated 10 in the Power Ratings).
