Temple is 5-1 Against The Spread versus Indiana since 1997.

3 of 3 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL since 1997.  The total for this game was set at 147.

The number 9 seed Temple managed to beat number 8 seed North Carolina State on Friday with a final score of 76-72.

Khalif Wyatt scored 31 points and made six decisive free throws in the final 32 seconds Friday.

"He's as tough a competitor as I've had an opportunity to coach," Temple's Fran Dunphy said. "He wants the moment."

He’ll have his work cut out against the top seeded Hoosiers.

Indiana had a statement win against James Madison Friday to advance into the 3rd round.  They beat James Madison by a final score of 83-62.

ESPN.com had this to offer regarding the Temple vs. Indiana matchup:

What to watch: Can Temple possibly get stops? The Owls finished the A-10 season ranked ninth in their league in points per possession allowed; they're a crafty offensive team that has struggled defensively throughout the year. On Sunday, they meet the nation's No. 1 offense.

Stat to watch: Temple's offense is effective not only because the Owls can rely on Wyatt, but because they don't often turn the ball over -- to date, they've turned it over on fewer possessions (just 15.9 percent) than all but eight teams in the country. Indiana loves to force turnovers, after which it can get out and run. If Temple can limit that facet of the game, it might just be able to hang with the Hoosiers.
