When it comes to the Sweet 16 betting lines for this week’s NCAA Tournament games, it is the Arizona Wildcats money line that is seeing the most lopsided action.
“Nearly 95 percent of those betting the money line for this game were backing Arizona,” notes Gambling911.com sports reporter Don Shapiro.
And the price tag is steep. You would have to wager $65 to win/profit $10. Gamblers seem to think this is such a sure thing that we are hearing of a few $650 bets to win $100.
“The wagering public sees no way that Xavier beats Arizona outright,” Shapiro says.
The oddsmakers don’t see it either. They’ve made the Wildcats a -10.5 favorite for their Thursday matchup.
