Russell Westbrook Continues to be a Fantasy NBA Phenom: Thunder Line at -7

Another Fantasy pick for December 26 would be none other than phenom Russell Westbrook.  His team, meanwhile, was coming in as a -7 favorite at home versus Charlotte.

The Oklahoma City point guard is worth his price of around $12000 thanks in no small part to his reliability on the court.  

Westbrook put up a double-double, scoring 40 points (16-34 FG, 1-5 3PT, 7-9 FT) collecting 10 assists, and hauling in six boards.  In his last five games, Westbrook is putting up 33.0 points per game.  Tuesday was his second straight 60+ fantasy point performance.

A great stat comes from the folks at DailyFantasySportsRankings.com:

Charlotte has allowed 8% more points than league average and 11% more assists than league average to opposing PGs.

OKC, meanwhile, has dominated Charlotte in their past seven meetings.  All but one of those wins were by double digits. 

The Thunder’s record is a bit deceiving as they have won seven of their last ten with two of their most recent losses coming in overtime and by a mere two points, respectively.

While the Thunder are 6-2 Against The Spread in their last 8 home games, they have struggled against Eastern Conference teams this season for whatever the reason, going 4-11 ATS.
