Raptors v. Pelicans Fantasy Picks, Salaries, Betting Report – February 23

This Raptors vs. Pelicans fantasy picks and betting report is courtesy of Gambling911.com, the official sponsor of the first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo in Miami Beach.  This is just one of the many new additions to the Gambling911.com site to compliment the second half of the season that we hope will make you a winner whether you’re betting on games or playing daily fantasy NBA.

The Raptors come into this game with a 37-18 record Straight Up and a .500 record Against The Spread.  The Pelicans are 28-27 with an impressive ATS record of 31-24.  The Raptors have won 7 of their last 10 games, covering the spread in five of those.  New Orleans has won only three of their last ten games Straight Up while covering four of those.  Toronto lost by two points against New Orleans the last time they met but won the previous six games in this series.  The Pelicans have played especially well at home.  The line for this game was not immediately available.

Toronto

Here are your projected salaries and target fantasy points to make value (vary between sites):

DeMar DeRozan (SG) $7K – 35 fantasy points

James Johnson (PF) $4.2K – 22 fantasy points

Kyle Lowry (PG) $7.2K – 35 fantasy points

Amir Johnson (F) $4.2K -22 fantasy points

J. Valanciunas (C) $5K – 25 fantasy points

New Orleans

Here are your projected salaries and target fantasy points to make value (vary between sites):

Eric Gordon (SG) $5.7K – 29 fantasy points

Dante Cunningham (PF/SF) $3K – 18 fantasy points

Tyreke Evans (SG) $8.2K – 37 fantasy points

Anthony Davis (PF) $10.8K – 43 fantasy points

Omer Asik (C)$4.2K – 24 fantasy points

DeMar DeRozan – He went four straight games with at least 33 fantasy points before a dud against Houston the other night.  DeRozan didn’t quite make value the last time he face New Orleans and likely will not be a good play Monday.

Kyle Lowry – The Pelicans have struggled against point guards in recent weeks, ranking dead last when it comes to allowing fantasy points to this position.  He did have a tough time against Houston in his last appearance and the same is true the last time he faced the Pelicans.  He should be considered based on New Orleans problems with the point guard position nonetheless.

Amir Johnson – He’s a good cheap pick considering he managed to accumulate over 30 fantasy points the last time he played against New Orleans.  He only needs around 22 points to make value.

Tyreke Evans – Was smoking against Toronto the last time he played them, totaling around 40 fantasy points.

Evans scored 13 points with three rebounds, six assists, three steals and two turnovers during a 105-91 win over the Heat on Saturday.  He didn’t quite make value.  Evans is a little pricey for our tastes.
