At 8:30 am Manila time Saturday, many in the Philippines will be able to watch the Hornets vs. Knicks game and see “Linsanity” LIVE.  The only downside is that gamblers won’t be able to bet this game live at BetDSI.com as there is no national broadcast in the U.S.  In fact, there is an irony in that nearly 2 million New Yorkers will not be able to watch the Knicks play due to a cable provider conflict between Time Warner and the network that offers Knicks games, MSG.

The Knicks will first host Sacramento Wednesday night in the Garden after a shocking final second win on the road against Toronto.

Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin made a tiebreaking 3-pointer with less than a second to play to cap his finishing flurry of six straight points and New York rallied to beat the Raptors 90-87, extending its winning streak to six games.

"I'm just glad it went like this so we can calm the Linsanity down," cracked Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni.

“Filipinos love the NBA and they love to gamble, a perfect combination,” remarked Gambling911.com Operations Manager, Payton O’Brien.  “This was true of last year’s NBA Playoffs where many of the games were broadcast live there.”

Live televised games provides individuals with more of an incentive to place bets.

“Only the most hardcore gambler places a wager on an event they can’t watch live,” noted O’Brien.

Heading into the game against Toronto, Lin’s MVP odds were sitting at 75-1.
