NBA Betting Hot Trends for December 6: Heat, Spurs

Two of the hottest NBA betting trends today come to us direct from the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

Both the Heat and Spurs are 6-1 Against The Spread over the last seven games against their respective opponent.  Miami faces the Knicks while San Antonio faces Minnesota.

The Heat hosts the Knicks as a -1 home favorite and having won nine of the last ten games Straight Up.  Miami though is just 7-13 Straight Up this season while New York is two games above the .500 mark.  The Knicks are also 12-8 Against The Spread so far this season.  Miami has won half of their last ten games overall, New York has done so in seven of its last ten.

In regard to the Spurs vs. Timberwolves series we have our favorite betting trend of the night with San Antonio 6-1 ATS vs. Minnesota.

San Antonio has been a double digit favorite in the last seven games of this series, covering in all of those.  They have beaten Minnesota outright in nine of the last ten meetings.

It’s not as if the Wolves are drastically improved this season.  They own a 6-14 record, yet Minnesota is only a +4 underdog hosting San Antonio this day or, where bettors are concerned, the Spurs are only a -4 point favorite against Minnesota.  Keep in mind San Antonio has only lost four games this season.

Hard to go against the Spurs in this situation.

In case you were wondering, Spurs star Tony Parker exited the previous game due to a knee injury and is not expected to play against the Timberwolves tonight.
