March Madness 2010 Betting

March Madness 2010 betting has arrived.  For Gambling911.com this is traditionally one of our busiest months and with good reason.  Both the Oscars and March Madness basketball result in Biblical traffic numbers.  This year we also have the much anticipated Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey fight taking place March 13.

"It's going to be a killer month with just the first two days of March perhaps seeing the least amount of search traffic," points out Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of Gambling911.com.  We anticipate record numbers throughout the entire month of March beyond that point however."

betED.com released various March Madness 2010 betting props and odds on Monday.  They are focused on some key College Basketball games this week.

One of the biggest games of this week has the No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks visiting the No. 5 Kansas State Wildcats in a battle of state and Big 12 conference rivals.

The Jayhawks are at 13-1 SU in the conference and the Wildcats are right behind - although two games back - at 11-3 SU.

No. 1 going into the weekend, Kansas was upset 85-77 at Oklahoma State on Saturday and dropped one spot to second.

Also on Wednesday, the No. 4-ranked Duke Blue Devils visit the No. 23 Maryland Terrapins with the ACC regular-season title on the line (9 pm ET, ESPN).

Duke is 12-2 SU in the ACC and Maryland is one game back with an 11-3 SU conference record.

Two bubble teams also clash on Wednesday (7 pm ET, ESPN) when the Connecticut Huskies (7-9 SU Big East) battle the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-8 SU Big East).

On Saturday, both UConn and Notre Dame will be facing other bubble teams. The Huskies take on the South Florida Bulls (7-9 SU Big East), and Notre Dame clashes with the Marquette Golden Eagles (10-6 Big East) in Milwaukee.

Also Saturday, the new No. 1 team in the nation, the Syracuse Orange (14-2 SU), take on the 10-6 SU Louisville Cardinals in another Big East battle (2 pm ET, ESPN).

The latest AP Poll on Monday put the Orange in the top spot in men's college basketball for the first time in 20 years.
