Los Angeles Lakers vs. Miami Heat odds opened at Lakers -4 with the line moving to -5 at SBG Global.

Thursday, 8:05 pm Eastern - TNT

Two of the best players in the NBA betting take the court on Thursday as Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers visit Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat in a game that can be seen on TNT.  If the teams play anything like they did the last time they met then this should be a good one. The Lakers won 108-107 against Miami back in December at Staples Center as Kobe Bryant hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to win it.  There were 17 lead changes and 11 ties in that contest.

Kobe had 33 points in that game, 17 of which came in the fourth quarter. Pau Gasol totaled 22 points and eight rebounds while Andrew Bynum posted 19 points and eight rebounds. Wade had 26 points, 12 in the fourth quarter.

Miami is coming off a 110-106 win on Tuesday against Golden State. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for Miami.  It wasn't supposed to be a close game considering the Warriors were missing two of their best NBA betting players but Miami is still not playing well.  Wade saved them as he scored 35 points and dished out 12 assists. The Heat are a half-game ahead of Charlotte for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. "It'll be a dogfight all the way to the end," Wade said.  The Lakers are coming off a 122-99 rout of Indiana on Tuesday.

Thursday's game is the 44th meeting between the Lakers and Heat with the Lakers holding a 29-14 all-time lead. The Lakers are 6-4 in their last 10 meetings with the Heat. In Miami, the Lakers are 5-5 in their last 10 games.

Kobe is averaging 24.3 points against Miami in his career.

The Lakers are 17-8 ATS in their last 25 Thursday games. The Lakers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. the Southeast. The Lakers are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 NBA betting games overall. The Lakers are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings against Miami.

The Heat are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. the Pacific. The Heat are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Thursday games. The Heat are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games.

The Under is 6-1 in the Lakers last 7 road games. The Under is 8-2 in the Lakers last 10 overall. The Under is 7-1 in Miami's last 8 home games. The Under is 25-10-1 in Miami's last 36 overall.  The Under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings in Miami between the two teams.
