While Baylor easily defeated Houston, the second game turned out to be the biggest surprise with a close game between Gonzaga and UCLA that ultimately landed in overtime.  The Zags won with a final second three point shot that turned into a 93-90 finish.

Gonzaga had come into this game undefeated.

Baylor routed the Cougars 78-59.

This is the Bears first appearance in the NCAA Semifinal in 71 years.

“Every day you’re grinding, and you don’t really look back. You’re pressing forward,” Drew said afterward, “but I’m so blessed to have these unbelievable players that bought into what we like to do with the program.”
