(Gambling911.com Sports Wire) - Sunday afternoon it was being reported by ESPN that Lebron James may opt out of his contract with the Cleveland Cavs after taking them to the Championship this year.  Sportsbook still held Cleveland’s odds of winning the 2016 NBA Championship at 3-1, better than reigning champ Golden State’s 5.5/1.

Lebron plans to bypass his $21.6 million player option and become a free agent July 1.

It’s doubtful Sportsbook will change Cleveland’s odds or take them off the board as Lebron is widely expected to re-sign with his current team.

Sources told ESPN, however, it is James' intention to stay somewhat removed from the Cavs' free agency until other free agents are handled.
