LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Kansas Jayhawks have fallen out of the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2009.

Kansas ranked No. 23 last week after slipping eight spots during week 11.

The record 231 consecutive weeks on the AP Top 25 Poll is a national record.

Kansas has been steadily slipping in the poll with five straight losses on the road.

"It's basketball and we have another game to focus on," Jayhawks guard Jalen Wilson said after a 91-79 loss at No. 14 West Virginia on Saturday, their sixth in the past 10 games. "In basketball you sometimes have to focus on what's in front of you and not think about the past and what you couldn't done. Another day, another game we just have to focus on."

The Jayhawks face Oklahoma State tonight at 8 p.m.

The top five teams this week are:

 1. Gonzaga  18-0

  2. Baylor       17-0

  3. Michigan       13-1

  4. Ohio St.        15-4

  5. Villanova       12-2
