Both teams come into this game (nationally televised on ESPN at 9 pm EST) with solid records, the Hawkeyes 19-4 Straight Up and the Hoosiers 19-5 Straight Up.  Indiana is ranked Number 22 in the nation, Iowa is number 5.

The Hawkeyes, however, have also been playing decently Against The Spread, going 13-7 compared to Indiana, which was sitting at the .500 mark ATS.  Iowa has covered the spread in seven of its last ten games overall.  Indiana has covered in half of its last ten games overall.

Indiana has won three of the last four in this series though the Hawkeyes won the last meeting and they are 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings.

The Hawkeyes are averaging 78.5 points in conference play to lead the Big Ten, with the Hoosiers close behind at 78.2.

"It's going to be very up-tempo," said Iowa senior guard Mike Gesell, who needs two points to reach 1,000 for his career. "That's how we want to play, and they want to play that way, too."

Indiana is averaging a Big Ten-high 84.1 points overall - Iowa is second at 80.7 - but it was held in check Saturday at Penn State. The Hoosiers shot a season-low 36.2 percent and scored their second-fewest points in a 68-63 loss.

The total was posted at 151.5.

Action was relatively balanced on this game.
