How Much Would a Bet on the Pelicans to Win the 2018 NBA Championship Pay Out?

As this was going to press, the New Orleans Pelicans were looking for a sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers in Round One of this year's NBA Playoffs.  Should they advance all the way to the Finals and win the 2018 NBA Championship, the payout at current odds (which can be locked in here) would be $4000 for every $100 bet or $400 for every $10 bet.

New Orleans plays in the tougher Western Conference where Golden State has established a dynasty in recent years and the Houston Rockets have forged to the top of the heap with the NBA's best record this year.

Still, this is a solid Pelicans squad.

Anthony Davis is averaging 28.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 2.3 steals in the series. New Orleans recorded 16 steals while forcing 24 turnovers in Game 3 against the Trail Blazers.

The team remained humbled but confident coming into Saturday's potential sweep.

"As much as they've played well and we haven't, three games to zero, that doesn't mean that it's over with," Damian Lillard insisted to reporters on Friday. "That don't mean that we walk around here defeated. We just gotta get one. The series can change after one game, especially going back home."
