Gambling911.com has your Hampton vs. Kentucky betting line and odds to win the East Regional for both teams and all others.

To say a Hampton win against undefeated Kentucky would be an upset comes as the biggest understatement of the century.  Such an upset would indeed be among the biggest in 100 years of sports.

Not surprisingly, the mighty Wildcats come into this game as a -32 point favorite with the line moving towards -33.

Hampton is an excellent value play here in that Kentucky’s record Against The Spread is far less intimidating than their 34-0 Straight Up record.  In fact, the Wildcats had a terrible time covering the spread early on in the season.  Over the past ten games, Kentucky has only failed to cover the spread in one game while pushing in two others.

Though the Pirates are just 17-17 Straight Up, they have covered all lined games this season, going 8-0.  They have also won 7 of their last 10 games.

Kentucky has won 118 NCAA tournament games in its history. Hampton has won two. The first was as a No. 15 seed against No. 2 seed Iowa State in 2001, the second was Tuesday’s 74-64 victory against Manhattan in the First Four.

Heading into Thursday night’s game it was uncertain whether Hampton would have two of its top scorers.

It doesn’t help the Pirates chances that this game will be played in Louisville, essentially giving Kentucky home court advantage.
