Grizzlies vs. Warriors Game 5 Betting Odds

BetDSI.com has your Grizzlies vs. Warriors Game 5 betting odds for the 2015 NBA Playoffs.

Warriors Finally Getting Tested

The Golden State Warriors sailed through the regular season, finished with the best record in the NBA, have the league MVP in Stephen Curry and then they rolled over New Orleans in the first round. The Warriors were not tested during the regular season but they are now getting a real test against the Memphis Grizzlies. History says that teams as good as the Warriors were during the regular season should go on and win the NBA title as only two teams in NBA history that finished with a winning percentage equal or higher to the Warriors didn’t win the title.

Grizzlies Continue to be Underrated

The Memphis Grizzlies didn’t get much respect before this series and they still are not getting much. This is a Memphis team that has been together since 2009 and had success. In the last four seasons the Grizzlies have won at least 50 games and they reached the Western Conference Finals two years ago. The Grizzlies have played excellent defense in this series as Tony Allen continues to cause Curry and Klay Thompson trouble. And the Grizzlies were the 2nd best team in the NBA on defense this season as they allowed 95 points per game.

Series Notes

The first three games of this series all went under the total. The Grizzlies have more than held their own at Golden State in recent seasons as they are 6-4 straight up and 7-3 against the NBA betting odds in their last ten meetings. The Warriors did win Game 1 by a score of 101-86 but they dropped Game 2 by a score of 97-90. Four of the last six meetings at Golden State have gone under the NBA betting total.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
