Five Final Four 2018 Bold Predictions

In an effort to try to determine which teams will cover in the upcoming weekend's Final Four matchups, we look to USA Today, which provides us with five bold Final Four predictions.  Scroll Down for More

Loyola-Chicago Potential New Heroes

While some key Loyola-Chicago players have made the highlight reels, this team may not be through producing new stars.

The Ramblers' big man, 6-9 freshman Cameron Krutwig, could be the unsung hero against Michigan with his defense and efficiency in the paint. His passing and influence on the inside-out game have been invaluable. There also are two guys off the bench, Aundre Jackson and Lucas Williamson, who could become March stars.

Kansas to Pull Upset Against Nova

After losing in the two previous Elite Eights, KU finally got over the hump and has played with the best of them this tournament, proving they could come up big in crucial situations against Duke to advance to the Final Four.

Malik Newman Will be the Difference Maker for Kansas

From USA Today:

Malik Newman's coming-out partyhas helped a Kansas team that won the Big 12 for a 14th consecutive time become even better. His 32 points in the win against Duke show how he's found a comfort zone in this perimeter-oriented offense in which Big 12 player of the year Graham and veteran sharpshooter Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk are the go-to players. Newman's 13 overtime points against Duke stand as one of the greatest performances of this tournament. If KU upends 'Nova, Newman will be a lightning rod in that effort.

How Michigan or Loyola Chicago Can Win It All

Should Michigan or - in particular Loyola Chicago - go onto win the Championship, the payout to bettors will be huge.

Michigan can win with its stifling defense. They also have athletic, hard-nosed guards who can contain the higher seeded teams top players.

Loyola Chicago can win with quickness, its spread-out offense and array of playmakers and big shot-makers.  They also have one of the best defenses in the country.

The Most Outstanding Player Won't Be Who You Expect

You will be able to place plenty of player proposition bets at BetPhoenix for this upcoming weekend's Final Four matchups.

Do not ignore these players, each of whom should have good wagering value:

Villanova: Donte DiVincenzo.

Kansas: Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk.

Michigan: Zavier Simpson.

Loyola-Chicago: Donte Ingram.
