Final Four 2010 Betting Strategies

Don't be betting on the Final Four 2010 until you review a few important strategies that will hopefully result in a nice little profit.

If you plan on betting the total in the Butler - Michigan State game, both Michigan State (16-18 O/U) and Butler (15-19 O/U) have leaned just slightly toward the under this season, observes Ricky Dimon of Covers.com.  The under is 8-1 in Butler's last nine overall, but the over is 8-0 in MSU's last eight against the Horizon League.

The Spartans have won three of their four NCAA Tournament games by three points or fewer (70-67 over New Mexico State, 85-83 over Maryland, and 70-69 over Tennessee).  This would be a great stat if not for the fact that Butler is a -1 point favorite here at SBG Global.

It still might be wise to bet against the Spartans here based on regular season ATS performance. Michigan St. was 6-10 ATS in non-conference play and 8-15 ATS against teams with a winning record this season, points out Johnny Detroit of PreGame.com.

Final Four 2010 betting strategies for West Virginia vs. Duke should probably focus on the Fighting Irish's tough ATS performance against Big East teams where they have gone 1-5-1 ATS this season.  Duke is the -2 ½ favorite at SBG Global.

The Mountaineers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games as the listed underdog. The under is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games.
