Celtics Will Pay $12.5K With NBA Championship Win

Nobody expects the Boston Celtics to win the 2017 NBA Championship with news that Isaiah Thomas will be out the remainder of the post season with hip injury.  But should it happen, the payout will be $12,500.

And now there’s hope as Marcus Smart guided his Celtics to a Game 3 win over Cleveland on the road to bring the series to 1-2.

It will be an uphill battle to be certain but one can still dream.

With Cleveland up 66-50, the Celtics caught fire in the third quarter, trimming a 21-point deficit to five going into the fourth. In the end, Avery Bradley hit a game-winning three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left to give Boston a stunning win.
