Butler was 20-13 Straight Up and two games under the .500 mark ATS.
The Hogs are in the Big Dance for the third time in five years. They have elite shooters (44 percent behind the arc) and minimal turnovers. The problem is that Arkansas is not a very good defensive team.
ESPN.com points out that the Razorbacks ranked 12th in the conference in defensive efficiency, getting crushed on the defensive glass and allowing conference opponents to score one-third of their points on 3-pointers, while connecting on 36.9 percent. Arkansas also has trouble at the free throw line.
Butler is coming off a Sweet 16 appearance last season. The Bulldogs have a trio of double-figure scorers and a team free throw percentage of nearly 77 percent. It is among the most efficient offenses in College Basketball. Butler is one of the top 50 2-point shooting teams in the country.
The Bulldogs should be victorious here.
