With the Jazz-Rockets Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Playoffs we are seeing a mix of action as the sharper books are tending to have Utah getting more dollar volume while at most of the recreational books it is all about Houston.

The former observation will have us sitting on the sidelines, otherwise we would typically be all over Houston as oddsmakers have dipped from -11.5 to as low as -10.5 early on.  This would tend to indicate a strong opinion on the Rockets covering.

With the early sharp action going towards the Jazz, there is some reason to tread carefully here.

We also have a situation here where the NBA Betting Power Ratings suggest a line of just -6 favoring Houston.

This one can go either way based on the data we see before us, and that translates into NO PLAY IN THE NBA
