Jaylen Brown vs. Cade Cunningham

The NBA and NBAPA both agreed today that Cade Cunningham and Luka Doncic will bypass the 65-game minimum rule to be eligible for regular season awards and All-NBA teams due to “extraordinary circumstances.”

Typically, NBA voters would have had their ballots in for awards and All-NBA teams, but due to the petitions from Cunningham, Doncic and Anthony Edwards (who was denied), it’s probably safe to assume that the majority of voters waited for the decision.

SGA, Jokic, Wemby and Luka seem like foregone conclusions for the All-NBA First Team.

So, the big question is…who gets the fifth spot? Will it be Cade Cunningham or Jaylen Brown?

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag set odds on who will make the All-NBA team between Cunningham and Brown, with Brown being a small favorite.

Who will make the All-NBA First Team?

Jaylen Brown -150 (2/3)

Cade Cunningham +110 (11/10)
